Jo was born in Durham and raised at the NC Outer Banks.  She has called Cary home since 2008 and is married to an IQVIA Project Manager.  She is blessed with 4 grown step-children. 

She attended UNCW & NCSU, majoring in English Literature.  In 2000 Jo earned her Real Estate Agent’s license, and then in 2003 she traded up for her Broker status.  She became BIC of her sole proprietorship agency in 2006, specializing in Custom Construction, Land Purchases, & Commercial Leasing.

Jo has worked in numerous other real estate-related positions throughout the years, including Reservations Manager, Office Manager, Director of Marketing, New Home Consultant, & Onsite Commercial Leasing Agent.

To further her transaction savvy, in 2014 she obtained an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Technology, graduating with High Honors and a perfect 4.0.  With that added education, she not only brings a wealth of knowledge about real estate to the table, but also a firm grasp of legal proceedings and processes, which make her an ideal fit for the position she fills here as the “Closer.”
